Confifi Group Hotels established in 1969 owns and manages 3 popular beach holiday resorts nestled amidst lush verdant gardens and outstretched beach on the south west coast of Sri Lanka in the popular touirst haven of Beruwela, which is a 96 km drive from the main international airport.
It all started when Professor M.T.A. Furkhan, Chairman of the Group, acquired one of the most beautiful stretches of beach on Sri Lanka’s South West coast in Beruwela and decided to build his first Hotel.
During this time, as many may recall, Tourism in Sri Lanka was not an established industry, finances were difficult to be obtain, and there were no staff specifically trained in hospitality.
Despite the odds Prof. Furkhan worked tirelessly and today this group of charming resorts continues to provides the perfect holiday solution for families, groups, wedding parties, couples and singles in a safe, soothing and inspirational locale.
